Hi all,
Went to check on a hive today and found the bees had decided to drift off center of the frame, so I attempted to cut the top and move it back. It is a cloudy 65 degree day here but I messed up and the comb broke, it was about two thirds of the frame.
So I took some cotton string and made two loops to wrap around the frame and comb. You set the comb level on the bottom of the frame and use the string to hold it upright to the frame. This would be the second time I have done this and it works great. The bees attach the comb and fill in the gap. I will remove the string after the comb is attached if the bees don't do it first.
Have a great day!

Rubber bands! The bees will toss them out when they decide they dont need them anymore.
