Title: Painting Bee Boxes
Post by: AUSSIE POM on September 28, 2015, 06:30:42 AM
G'day,
I normally paint my boxes with oil based paint. Primer, undercoat, and white topcoat & Aluminium paint.  Some of my boxes are 20 years old and are still O K.  I paint them with Aluminium paint each year or when they need painting.  I have made new boxes I am getting them treated.  Once they are dried out, I will paint them.  I see that Aldi has 5lt of Sealer & Undercoat for $39. I want to know if I use that to paint my boxes and put a white topcoat, what is the cheapest Aluminium paint to buy to paint the boxes.
No 2 question.
How do you reply to a post to say thank you.
Cheers Perry

What price do you normally pay for aluminium paint?
After wax dipping we normally use 2 coats of paving paint, about $220 for 20 litres.
