Title: Newbie from Central New York

My wife and I decided to start beekeeping this year.  We purchased one nuc in the spring and are hooked.  We are toying with the idea of expanding over the next few years.  We are still learning and researching to plan the best way to do this.  Looking forward to learning from everyone on this forum!

Eric,  we live in Camden.  It's about an hour northeast of Syracuse, near Oneida Lake.

I have a friend that has a cottage on Oneida Lake. The reason I ask is because CNY is has different climates... You probably get hammered with snow. I usually only get a couple feet.

We are on the southern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau so we do get a good amount of snow!
