Hi guys,
New to actually having bees, been researching for ages.
Have a 40 ac farm in North East Tasmania, which we acquired early this year. Am slowly putting in hedges of lavender and rosemary, already have lots of fruit trees etc.
my mentor has lots of hives, 8 frame ideals mostly. He's been a beek for a long time. longer than I've been alive I think.
I've been working for my first hive, they're ten frame ideals (I'd eventually like eight frames also as they will all be interchangeable, and lighter since I'm female is easier to lift a full box)
anyhow just wanted to say hi :) lots of good stuff here.
Welcome to Beemaster. Bee warned, this is a very additive hobby.

Welcome to the forum! Great people here and very helpful.
Thanks guys :)
sure is addictive. even when I've just been renovating frames I seem to run out of hours way too fast, and if we are actually working hives the time just flies by!
Welcome
I've finally been able to login from a pc. much prefer this view to the tapatalk one! while i'm here i've updated the location etc on my profile and added our farm FB page to the signature line.
Cheers :-)
Hello Dunderi,
great to see another Aussie. Very jealous you live in Tasmania what a spot to live (and have a bee hive!!)
Welcome Dunderi!!!
From your FB page you seem to live in a little slice of Paradise down under....good luck with the ladies and welcome to the group!!
