Title: Debt Ceiling
Post by: GSF on November 17, 2015, 08:37:13 PM

I think this says it all and in simple easy to understand terms!!!!!!

I love it when a complicated situation can be explained in such simple terms!

* Democrats don't understand

THE DEBT CEILING

* Republicans don't understand

THE DEBT CEILING

* Liberals don't understand

THE DEBT CEILING

* NO ONE understands

THE DEBT CEILING

SO, allow me to explain ...

Let's say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer-backup in your neighborhood.  Your home has sewage all the way up to your ceiling.

What do you think you should do?

1. raise the ceiling,or

2. pump out the S__T?

Your choice is coming in November 2016

.

Now if we could just do it.

3. Move to higher ground.   :wink:

It is one of those false ceilings, kinda like a follower board.  You keep moving it to allow for growth.

If you are in congress, your house sits high on a hill so you do not care how high the SH_T gets.

Regretfully you are probably correct.

I love the analogy.

But on a serious note.
If you took a $1 million check to the bank everyday of the year to pay off our debt, it would only take
54,794... YEARS!!!!!!!!
