I don't know if I've seen anything, but it certainly isn't hurting them.  I also happen to love the smell.

I have tried HBH when feeding to stimulate the queen to lay and when feeding to put on winter stores, but I saw no benefit from it's use.  My bees take syrup well if there is no nectar flow, if a colony doesn't take the syrup usually it is sick.

I bought a bottle when I started out. Tried it and it caused problems and I never used it again. Later found out the the original directions were wrong. That has been corrected. If if get an old bottle bee careful. You only use a little bit.

I remember some mechanics discussing STP oil treatment back in the 70's. the consensus was that the only thing STP did was put money in Andy Granatelli's pocket. while honey bee healthy may not hurt the girls I doubt it does much for them. when I tried it in syrup I saw no difference in the hives that I used it in & those I did not. I was just curious about others experiences. I think i'll put my cash to a better use.

A supplier convinced me to buy it. "This is what's saving the bees," he said.

Had two hives this year. Both are now dead. Though I doubt it has anything to do with HBH.

In my experience it set off massive robbing.  Robbing is already an issue when feeding.  I don't need to make it worse.  Also it kills the microbes in their gut which are protecting them from the bad microbes.
