Title: DWV
Post by: GSF on March 21, 2016, 11:45:57 AM
I have 16 hives in this one area of my yard. Each stand has at least five hives on it. In front of the hives is a piece of white carpet. I have it there so I can see what they're throwing out of the hive. In front of two of the hive I've noticed 3 maybe 4 drones with deformed wing virus. I OA vaporized last fall but sometimes I noticed that I may have tilted the vaporizer losing some of the OA.

With that few cases is this something to be worried about? I'm considering hitting those hives a second time to play it safe. I don't remember if seeing it at all indicates an underlying disaster fixing to happen or if it's like a runny nose that'll clear up.

I would not worry about it.
