Hi: well I have out 8 swarm traps and most are 8 and 10 frame boxes with frames and some foundation in them. I have also put in a Old Brood comb frame.I filleed the boxes full like if 8 frame box I put in 8 frames,.I was planning on just transfer all the frames to a brood box with the proper bottom board

I like to place one frame of old comb in with 4 foundation less frames. I put 4 drops of lemon oil on the 4 top corners of the frames. I have a bunch of dead queens in a bottle of alcohol and I dip a Q-tip in it and seal it in a small Baggie and place it in the bottom. Place the trap about 7 feet off the ground.
