Title: DIY dry pollen substitute
Post by: LKBruns on August 06, 2016, 11:37:35 AM
Can I use dried brewers yeast (horse supplement) ... Most recipes request brewers yeast.  Is this the same?

The supplement I was going to use is for horses.  "Brewers Dried Yeast". It is a by product of brewing beer and ale

I never used brewers yeast for pollen patties. is new or spent yeast?  I don't feed patties but  would love to hear from some of the commercial guys on here to se if its a good idea.

please keep us informed of the results. I have a micro brewry near me so may be a good source if I ever decide to do that.
