Post by: jtcmedic on August 06, 2016, 08:33:01 PM
Hi again new guy again with question from central Florida, new hive were going great 2 deeps and were growing bonkers, put a super on and were filling new foundation no wax and on last inspection they only filled 5 of 10 with wax but none are capped, how long to wait and what to do if they don't cap.
Thanks

You still have plenty of time before you need to prep for winter.  I don't know about your location, but I still have about 2 months.

He's kinda  right. But you in Florida in southern part really don't have a end of flow. Just changes in flows. But if they don't cap you can always check it with the shake method. Some times they get so busy with work they don't cap the frames until they have a  lul in flows.
