Title: Beetle Blocker Shim
Post by: Matt J on August 31, 2016, 11:26:14 PM
Does anyone have any experience with these.  They look like a darn good idea to me, but I am a beginner.  They work on the same premise as the Beetle Baffles.  One area of concern I have is if a hive makes a new queen and she leaves on her mating flight, could she easily get back in?  Also, I worry about ventilation and OAV treatments.  Probably would have to come off for the OAV.

I like the idea. But I like this idea better because you can make them your self to fit what ever your setup is. Plus more cost effective .
