Hello there. I'm a 24 year old who has just moved to Indiana from NY. I'm just starting out here, getting a job and all. I currently live with my dad but the both of us are huge animal lovers. We have decided to put in a butterfly garden next year, and that conversation led us to the topic of beekeeping. I had planned on building my own hive box once I got into a house of my own but he actually seemed confused as to why I wouldn't build one at his house. Well, to be honest, I hadn't thought of it. I had assumed that I'd have to wait until I got to my own house. So, here I am. Earlier than planned (which is fine). I'm doing the research, especially since I've just moved to a new state and all. I want to have a hive or two (and I'm sure that number will grow) in the near future, as in next spring. I'm looking for any and all information, and until then I will spend my time supporting the local beekeepers here and collecting info so that I can be the best beekeeper that I can be.
:D
Welcome to Beemaster. A lot of good info here.

Welcome.
Welcome to Beemasters. You can learn lots here, you may want to fine and join your local bee club also. After you get bees there will be days you can just stand or sit and watch them come and go. It's amazing.
Good Luck to you,
Joe D.
welcome to the addiction
