Hi really interested in getting started in this hobby. I live in Gainesville Florida. Just getting as much knowledge before I commit.

Welcome to Beemaster.
Your are in a great area for bees. Jamie Ellis is in the college there. A great source for info.

This is a great place for information about bees but nothing beats just diving in and doing it.
