This is the method I use for waxing plastic foundation. So easy and much less messy than with a roller. I made a wood rack out of a 2x4 just cutting groves with a skill saw. I use a cheap stock pot I picked up somewhere deep enough to dip the frames in. Having the thick and even coat of wax really helps the bees draw it out well. Kudos to the Aussies who posted this video!

That gives me an idea...I may have one of those turkey fryers that might be just perfect for this!
I'm glad you posted this. I did not use the large container of wax
because I do not have enough wax to fill a large container. I had not
Thought to fill it with water and then add the water.

That is one of the reasons I like this method. I don't have enough wax to fill a huge tank either but floating an inch of melted wax on the water is perfect. The other reason is the ease of even application of the wax. I had a heck of a time getting a good even coat with the paint roller method.
Have you considered notching a jig so you can dip multiple sheets at once? Might cut down on the time to process them.
