Post by: Vicken on June 20, 2017, 06:56:47 AM
This season I've noticed one of my queens color was astonishing black and white abdomn,  I had mixed carnicas and itallians, but this one was abnormal, take a look(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170620/085a4dbcdee599a75a33706fa8459706.jpg)

Probably got a wild drone who mated with a new queen. Around where I am there are some almost totally black bees.

Nice queen and nice photo.  That would be a good starter photo for newbees learning to find queens.

Pretty!

My striped queens came from Russian stock.
