Very nice comb. How did you clear the supers of bees? I did a crush and strain yesterday of one double comb. Got more coming. A coupe of supers worth. Kinda dreading the process cause I feel a little inept going into my first time of extracting.
Looks great.

My wife would kill me if I tried to extract honey in her kitchen.
Wouldn't even ask.
Greetings king bee.
I enjoyed your video.
Looking good.
I used our kitchen twice to crush and strain honey.
Man oh man was my wifey angry!!!
The only good thing was she said I could buy a Maxdant 3100P if I stayed out of the house.
So I walked away happy after just getting my ass chewed.
Hey where can I buy that knife?
It looks really nice.
Thanks.
Andy
Nice video, thanks for sharing.
Please be careful when cutting towards your hand. I recommend that you cut downward first and then turn it around to finish.

We are making our final move into our new house this week. I also have a new closed in, air conditioned workshop. My wife is insisting we process the honey in the house. Says it is more sterile. Go figure.

I use to extract in the down stairs kitchen. Now it is full of treasures that come and go. So now I have to extract in the upstairs kitchen. I am glad my extractor only weighs about 20 pounds.
Sterile Jim? New house ... full of formaldehyde out gassing for the first couple of years, maybe some fiber glass insulation dust. Pitch a tent in the back yard after a rain storm is about as sterile as you can get.
Can't wait till my honey harvest.
