Welcome, Texas is pretty big.  It would help to define a smaller location of Texas when you have questions.

Yup, we have members from Houston, Gilmer, Dallas, Pep and all overthe Lone Star State.  I can't begin to imagine what beekeeping is out in Pep (out in the area of Muleshoe, Earth and Levelland) or down in Houston.  Gilmer is a little closer to Dallas in climate, so I think it's a bit more like beekeeping in Dallas.  Anyway, putting your general location, witout your exact address, phone number or email address will help people help you.  Welcome to the forum.
