There are so many California Buckeyes that will bloom in the next few days. I?ve heard the pollen from these flowers is toxic to honeybees. Does anyone know what color the pollen is? I?ve seen bees coming in the hive with all sorts of colored pollen, gray, purple, yellow, orange, brown, and red.
