Title: Old pollen patties
Post by: MikeyN.C. on November 13, 2018, 02:31:33 PM
Beek friend gave me half box of BrushyM.
Pollen patties,  they crumble to the touch. Are they still good?

When in doubt I would rather not feed it to my bees.  I don't want my
bees to get sick during the winter.  Ask your friend when did he bought them?

How does it smell
How does it taste
If you would not eat it yourself, then best not feed it to the bees.

Does it smell soured or moldy?
I keep mine in the freezer in the original wrapper and it still seems to be good.

No doesn't smell bad. I'm going to throw away.
