Title: Found Ferral Hive
Post by: Acebird on April 01, 2019, 09:14:11 AM
The thirtieth was my birthday and we went sight seeing on the beaches of FL.  The place is called Blowing Rock and it is part of the Natures Observatory.  I found this hive along the path to the beach.  Seemed to be very active and calm at the same time.

Hard to see. Are the bees at the base of the tree?

Yes Jim.  The brown area looks like comb when you blow up the photo.  The tree is a stump about 10 ft high.
