How full does a frame have to be to extract it.Three Quarter capped all capped ,half capped? I need to know.

It depends on the enviornment. Most will say 3/4 capped (ref. Beekeeping for Dummies), however, given the humid enviornment down here, I try to make sure that at least half of the frames are completely capped. I think anywhere from 3/4 to completely capped is safe to eat. Just, don't harvest when it's any less rippened. Unripened honey seem to be a natural laxitive.
3/4 quarter full is a good guide. That usually means that 95 % of the honey has been cured. When taking off for the last harvest I try to to put any partly filled frames back on the bees for honey stores, letting them top it off as the cooler weather sets in.
3/4 works fine.
