Alright i went down to the hives not to long ago and I heard piping. I though about what Jim said to open up the hive and collect the queens. But i stayed a bit longer and the queen came right to me! She was piping as she was being carried out by her hive mates. She fell into the grass and i searched through the grass for a while and i found her! She doesn't look mated but she is quite large. Queen Rose's daughter has arrived! I'm going to put her on top of the frames in the hive and if they attack her i know there is a queen already inside the hive. So then i can put her in my top bar hive with a few frames of bees shaken in and boom! Another hive!
I'll post the picture as my profile picture so you can see it.
Good luck and great timing!

I know! I'm sure there were others pulled out through the day and i happened to be there when this one was pulled out.
I named her Queen Balboa because she is a fighter
I would not bother to put her back on that hive. Just start her in the new hive. Bee sure to wipe a wet finger over her cage to keep her hydrated until the bees start feeding her.
Good luck.

By the way, if the bees are dragging out the queens, I would not worry about taking the hive apart unless you are just going to collect the queens. They have already decided which one they want and are removing the rest.

I wasn't planning on taking apart the hive. I only have one queen cage so i would be overloaded with queens. I will shake a few frames of bees into the new hive today and leave them queenless for a while then add this queen.
