Very dry here in N Arkansas, I see very bee flowers, however the bees are still finding food, somewhere? See pic of hive weight. Over 100 pounds and gaining everyday.

How about in take of nectar and out go of evaporated water, making at least part of the sawtooth pattern.

It would be interesting to see time of day on the X axis.
Mr. Ace I can touch the graph and time of day will appear. What you see is a pic of the graph, not touch active. I activated the X axis, took pic, looks like 8:00 AM hive loses weight. At 8:00 AM, lots of field bees leave the hive, the scale is sensitive enough to weigh difference.
