Title: Movies with beekeeping in them
Post by: tillie on May 28, 2006, 09:30:18 PM
I searched the site and found a couple of movie references but couldn't decide where to post this question.

Other than Ulee's Gold (which I watched long ago and am watching again tonight with different eyes since I am a newbee beekeeper), are there other movies in which bees or beekeepers play a major part?  I know Norman Gray has done a lot of what I think he calls "bee-wrangling" for horror movies in which bees are a part.

Does anyone have any other rental movie suggestions for the beekeeper?

I have heard of one that Nova did some years ago called Tails From The Hive.  (http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/bees/)I know you can buy it from PBS. I haven't seen this movie. I have my Tivo set to record it if it ever come on one day. I understand that it is very well done and extreamly educational.

I look forward to seeing it soon.
