To kill small hive beetle that run into empty cells.  I squish what I can, but those dog gone beetles that hide in the cells gave me grief as I hate to mash and destroy a waxed out cell.  We are talking many beetles now, say 30 in a jail that make a run for it when the hive is opened.  I can?t squish all 30, many run and hide in the waxed out cells.  The freeze spray literally freezes the beetles into solid  frozen hard chunks that turn snow white as the sprayed beetles frost over from the moisture in the air.

I think you spend too much energy hating and killing SHB.  I'm sure the bees hate to see you release them everytime you pop the lid when they had them all corralled and under control...

I miss Van and Nock and their good post. Do any of you use Vans' tried and true method of freeze drying SHB?
Van was on the verge of making a sport of it! Good job Van..
