Post by: Ben Framed on October 07, 2019, 01:22:11 PM
I am wondering if pollen is desired and sought after in your area?

Yes Sir, Mr. Phil, pollen is well sought after, by about 100,000 foragers in my backyard.  Har har har

If you run a farm stand somewhere it's worth having some on the table just for a conversation starter even if you don't sell much.  I try to have enough in my freezer to feed my hives to handle a failed fall flow.

Are you looking at your frames to see when it?s time to STOP STEALING their food? Or do they carry cardboard signs?

The Sundance trap lets half of the pollen through.  If they need more pollen they recruit more pollen gatherers.
