When you do a cutout and find the Queen. How long do you leave her in a clip before releasing?  Thanks

You are sure to get different answers. I place the in clip caged queen, between brood frames that I have rubber banded comb into the frames. I like to release her the next day, usually in the afternoon. But that timing does not always work out, depending on obligations.

You are caging her for convenience to not lose her and to also draw the others to the box. The hive is hers so she requires no cage time. So leaving her cages a short time is just a personal preference.
