Title: Question Induceing Bee's to re-orient

If I make some splits and move them 40ft away and put some twigs or branchs in font of the entrance will this cause them to re-orient.

Twigs--maybe, maybe not.  Branches better.  An entire tree best bet yet--I have mine in the orchard.

I need to let them out but block their path enough that they have to fly around it.  A twig will not do this.  A leafy branch from a spaling will.  A board layed agains the hive will.
