Title: wax moth
Post by: pdmattox on June 11, 2006, 12:23:09 AM
I think i just saw a wax moth larve.  It was grey and looked like a slick catapilar.  What do i do, for i only saw one in my inspection of all the hives today.

A strong hive will usually take care of the wax moth catapilers on their own, but I have always made it a practice to kill them whenever I see them.  Take that you blasted parasite.

One wax moth worm doesn't mean much.  More than one and I'd worry about the strength of the hive.
