Title: Honey thefts

We had some thefts from our road side stand last year did a different approach but they just took me for $24 and damaged to our box. :angry:

It?s a real shame. Sorry to hear about that. Most people do the right thing but there are a small minority who are either desperate or don?t hold the values that are required for this type of stall to succeed. Good luck for the coming season.

I thought about setting up a roadside stand but haven't for the reasons you described.
I've been searching for a vending machine for dispensing honey. One that handles large drink bottles would work.

Instead of going 100% hands off you could set up a camera that notifies your phone and then you can unlock the honey box from your phone.  A simple door bell camera gives you the added advantage of talking to the customer.  Of course it also records vandalism to the cloud if you sign up.

Good suggestion Brian. Who knows, they may decide to steal the whole vending machine! :shocked:
At least he would have their picture.
