No Christmas music until after Thanksgiving!
>No Christmas music until after Thanksgiving!
How about we wait until the week OF Christmas... I love Christmas music for about a week, especially carols. I'm not so fond of "Jingle bell rock" and "Grandma got run over by a reindeer". Once a year is enough for those...

Now that's too late! :cheesy: I want to listen to Christmas music while I'm preparing for Christmas, when I'm shopping, wrapping, baking, etc. and for us that goes on all December. But Thanksgiving is still fall to me. Christmas season begins Thanksgiving night.
The commercial sponsors are not going to let you wait until the week before. We have radio stations here that by contract have to start only Christmas music on a certain date, not sure when but soon and they don?t stop it until late Christmas Day. Then you won?t hear a single one.

I like to hear Christmas music through New Year's Eve personally. I feel like New Year's Eve is sort of a the last big hurrah of the Christmas season.

After posting on this subject yesterday, this morning one of our local stations started the nonstop playing of Christmas music. And it will end at noon Christmas Day.

Christmas music starts in the Philippines about September 1st... It will go through till about the January 15th.. Like it or not. At the end of September all the Christmas decorations were out at all the shopping malls. Have a Merry Christmas and happy New Year.
