Title: Easter lambs
Post by: Occam on April 08, 2023, 09:25:35 PM
Our two ewes were due this weekend. When I went down this morning to let out the dogs and sheep Winter had lambed a couple hours previous. A healthy strong little ram. A few hours later about 1030am Autumn had hers, a lovely little ewe

Thanks Jim!

Yeah the weird thing is my photos are .jpeg, they're under 200kb. Even photos I've uploaded before don't seem able to be uploaded. The Insert Attachment button isn't there, just Clear Attachment  🤷

Occam,
The technique has changed just recently. You select the photo that you want and it puts it in the post. It just a little bit faster and his way. The insert attachment is no longer needed.

Thanks for posting Occam!

Just curious; Is there a big demand for wool?

Not really, the commercial wool market is pretty poor. But there's a market in crafting at the hobby level. Spinners like to buy fleeces (washed or unwashed) so they can process the wool and spin yarn. I could also process the wool and turn it into roving (the carded wool pulled into ropes but not spun) and sell it that way. Or could fully process it and spin it for personal use and possibly sell the yarn.
