I have a house on a mountain in N Georgia - I don't live there - I go about once a month or so and rent it out some of the time. The sourwood is in full bloom and I wish, wish, wish I had hives up here. I have a perfect spot for it. Anyway here are the pictures:
The last picture is harder to see but the trees are multiple going down the mountain on my property.

You should never have bees there unless you plan to live there full time. I know that if I had that view AND bees, I'd never leave. Gorgeous pics :D
Thanks - I wish I could afford to live up there. But in addition to needing to pay the bills which my job in Atlanta makes possible, two of my daughters live in Atlanta as well as my bran' new grandson, so I'll be here most of the time.
I do have a beekeeping friend who lives in Rabun County and who might be willing to keep an eye out if I put hives up there. He and I are talking about establishing a blueberry patch on his land and putting joint hives there which we would both work on maintaining....both the blueberries and the bees.

yes!!!!!
There are five bears known to be on my mountain - 3 adults and 2 babies. If I had hives up there, I'd have to have an electric fence.
