The test is actually easier for females(typically) due to the differences in the rods and cones between the sexes.

The below average night vision wouldn't surprise me. My sisters can usually see better in the dark than I can. I don't know about color vision. I think my color vision is good, but I have trouble naming colors. I'm very unartistic, so that could be not so much because I can't visually distinguish color and more a result of a lack of artistic creativity (plus we have two artists and one fashion professional in the family, so the standard for color vocabulary is very high around here). :wink:
I meant not so much vocabulary, but ability to differentiate. To be able to duplicate a color by mixing tints.
I'm horrible at it. I have actually asked my wife "which one of these gray shirts should I wear?" and had her answer "the blue one, the green one doesn't go with those pants". To me, one is a little more greenish than the other, but they're both gray. To her, they're nothing alike. Same with what she calls navy and black. I can't tell the difference unless they're next to each other.
Oh no, nothing like that. :cheesy: The worst that will happen to me is I'll have what I think are three shades of blue, and I'll be told one is actually purple, or more accurately, periwinkle. Or I'll call something blue and I'll be informed it's actually teal.
