I was told that ant dislike pure honey, is this true? My honey always surrounded by ants, wherever I put them.
I dont believe this statement, unless ant dislike some kind of honey, due to its aroma or content. Anybody heared the same thing?

I can tell you first hand Ants love pure honey. It is a true pain in the butt to keep them out of the honey house where I help bottle and cut comb honey...
This year I have been using plain old ground cinnamon to keep ants away iin my kitchen. It works better than ANY chemical or otherwise that I have ever used. Maybe this could be spread around in your honey house on the floor/counter tops, etc.
The pluses are that it's cheap - get a restaurant sized bottle at Sam's or where ever for a few $ - and it's natural. And it smells good!
Good Luck!

Whale I appreciate the info. Never heard it and it is cheap enough to try. Thanks again.
Never heard of it?
Cinnamon, as in cinnamon rolls.
Cinnamon as in Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
It is not something you buy at Home Depot. You can get it at any spice aisle in the supermarket or even cheaper at the $1 stores.
What is Home Depot?
Now you're just messing with me :D
Guilty. Sorry. I know what cinnamon is, just never heard to use it for keeping ants away. :)
My aunt loves honey! :D
