Hi Folks,
If it were not for double standards,... *liberals* would have no standards at all.
Vice President Kamala Harris was happy to remind voters that she owns a gun, but the more they learn about her firearms, the more they ask why she appears to support a double standard for gun owners.

It seems like a lot of politicians. Are against the second amendment. Have a lot of arm body guard around them. And don't want guns.LOL

I think it's funny that she claims to own a Glock and suspect that she does not. I don't own any Glocks but all of my Glock owning buddies add a model number to it when they say that they own a Glock. i e 'Glock 19'. Model numbers of Glocks mean nothing to me as I never studied them but a caliber, OTOH, I understand completely. I am curious if that discussion went any deeper and they edited it out. i e, "What model or caliber of Glock do you own?", or, "How many rounds does it hold?", or, "What range did you shoot it at and how well did you do?". I can think of a slew of other questions as well but a couple of those would have driven the point home.
At one time I did own a Glock 19.. I did sell it before I came to the philippines. 2015..

The left has often tried to pass legislation that all guns have a safety. This of course is absurd as whether they need one or not depends on the action and the design. A Glock has no safety. As to model, yes, a Glock owner ALWAYS tells you the model or at least the caliber. The model number and the caliber are often at odds because they are totally unrelated.
Don't forget:
the *Generation*, Gen 1, 2, 3,....
And the holster rig!

Whether or not a Glock has a safety is arguable, isn't it? Don't they have the safety that sticks out from the front/center of the trigger? My H&K VP9 has one there. And aren't many (if not all) LE's pistols w/o safeties? Or would they be exempt from any such law? The last thing they need is to pull the trigger in the heat of battle, only to find that their safety is on.
Yes, it is debatable whether that is a "safety". But I also think it's debatable that a lever action rifle has a safety. It's the hammer. It won't shoot unless the hammer is cocked. A double action revolver has no safety as pulling the trigger will fire even if the hammer is not cocked. Of is the heavy hammer pull of double action a "safety"?
