This thread is for testing basic moderator functions.
Here are several posts of meaningless content, so the thread is of sufficiently realistic length, and to amuse myself while I'm waiting for our water to be turned back on so I can soak my Japanese water stones and sharpen some knives. True story.
Here is Captain Jack Sparrow attempting to steal a boat.
Here is a poem I wrote for my sister's birthday a few years ago. She likes fish, and I spontaneously quote this anytime I'm at an aquarium, which is unfortunately rare. Since this thread exists in a dead-end universe of impending deletion, I won't violate a potential future copyright issues by posting it, in case I ever wanted to publish it. Which is not likely.
The Fishes in the 'Quarium
(A Weird Grammatically Incorrect Little Poem)
The fishes in the 'quarium
They swims about all day
To them it is the ocean deep
Their world it is to they
They eats their little flakies
That falls from the lighted sky
The bottom feeders eat those bombs
That sinks occasionally
Though times the fishes perish
Or the algaes rule the tank
Mostly all the times it's great
Whether swim or float or sank
Those fishes lives so happy
Swamming o'er the gravelly bed
Who needs the ocean when you've got
A 'quarium instead

Nice Poem
Gasp! I have at last had a glimpse of that much desired but never-before-seen cryptid . . . THE LIKE BUTTON! The tales and songs fall utterly short of its enormity. :cheesy:
Oh and thanks, Ken.
Hey Rob, would it be possible to change the color or size or something of the "new post" indicator on a thread. On the old forum it's bold and highlighted in red and really jumps out, and here it's just the same font and color as the thread title. I barely noticed that Ken had replied to this thread.
Nice poem Reagan.

Thanks. And in case anyone is curious, I never did get to sharpen my knives.
