:(
We opened our meeting last night with a moment of silence as the news was passed. Very sad indeed.
It is sad to hear of any loss, as we all get older, people seem to die younger and younger. I loss my dad when he was 66, he went from a strong man to a frail man in only a few months - I made this page on my website devoted to his memory. Even today, I get more emails concerning this story of his life more than any other section of my site.
http://www.beemaster.com/hometown/johng.htm - I thought it important for others to know of his humble life, we all should have good memories and few regrets when we finally have to say goodbye to a loved one. It is never too late to tell someone how you feel about them, life has a way of taking those opertunities away unless you act on them.
I hope those of you needing a reflective tale to jump start yourself, please read.
An old beekeeper never dies--he just swarms to another dimension.
Amen Brian, amen...
John,
I am currently undergoing a cancer battle with my father so I can understand your pain. This has been incredibly hard for me as well. I enjoyed the peice on your Dad. Thanks for sharing....
