Title: bees on the lawn
Post by: amandrea on August 13, 2006, 02:22:56 PM
My hive is in some woods a little more than a quarter mile away from the apartments I live in. The lawn has quite a bit of clover in it which is covered (except in the shade) by thousands of bees. No one seems to have noticed them there, even the children playing on the grass.

Once they are discovered you may experience some vandalism by the ignorant or having them removed by someone calling the "authorities" to remove the nuscances.  I would suggest placking a placard with name & phone number in case such an event occurs.
