are your bees mutated?
Invasion of the Ninja Honey Bees.
That really is light.
Did you feed your bees a bunch of sugar water right before extraction :P
I just pulled a whole super of some honey that is about that light. I'm also from Michigan and was wondering what flora it came from. I guessed it was either from the soy bean crop next to the hives - or maybe basswood blossoms? - I actually had three hives located on the same property that produced that nice light color. My hive here at my house was a lot darker. It is nice though to have the two bears side by side - one light and one dark... now maybe I can get an even darker crop from the Goldenrod / Buckwheat flow.
It looks like fireweed honey.
no sugar water in about 4 months.this is a new hive from a 3 lb pak... and has fill up 2 deeps and 3 suppers. :D :D :D thanks
this hive is next to a wheat field. there is some soy bean fields around too so my be it came from there. thank :D :D s
