We did a cut out this weekend. The Beek we had help took two tubs of mixed comb out of the ceiling.

We left a hive body with a couple pieces of comb out to gather the loose bees .

Good luck on developing a feral hive. I hope you plugged the access point or the bees will be right back in the ceiling.
