Title: queen in cage how long?
Post by: Patrick on November 01, 2006, 02:03:31 PM
How long can a queen stay in the little queen cage? If I wan't to keep her in the cage for a few days what should I do to keep her alive?
Cheers,
Patrick

For a few days you can keep her in a cool not cold place, and deliver one small drop of water a day onto the screen. Beyond a couple of days I have had no experience. So far I have been able to introduce them within three days.

As long as there are healthy attendants and you give them a drop of water every day you can keep a queen alive in a cage for a very long time.  If you change the attendants for fresh ones you can do it almost indenfinitely.
