I cut the comb from two frames just now and its straining through an 800 mesh bag from the bee joint.
This is from the Meleleucas I reckon, very clear and floral tase, nice and sweet, no hint of bitter aftertase or any smoke taste.
I cut the sections following the wires, remove the cappings with a serated knife. I expect to get 10 pounds a frame, and another lb from the cappings.

Great pic's, that sure is pretty honey.
nice honey. looks like i will have to get the camera out next week, i'm getting a little envious of the honey flow in your areas .
Are you coming to a VAA meeting sometime?
Mick, you are sure a dandy with your camera. That honey is something to behold. I wish that I would take more pictures of things, and I probably will. I have been very interested in the pictures that people take. It is surprising how the digital camera has opened an entire new world of sharing. And so inexpensively.
Remember the days when one had to get the pictures developed to see what they looked like, now that was an expensive event. Have a great day. So glad their is not a smokey flavour to the honey. Great day. Cindi
Finished product.
