Yes he lives right down the road from me. I just haven't got the chance to meet up with him yet but soon I hope.
I would love to run linux but don't have a clue on how to run it and am worried that some of my programs that I've grown quite fond of wouldnt work.

For those of you out there that have the same concerns I have posted a link to a program that will work for you and you don't have to mess up the programs you already have. Its very easy to install and run.
