Title: Last call, the bar is closed.
Post by: Understudy on February 07, 2007, 11:12:45 PM
I set out some honeycomb from a cut out I did. For all intents and purposes it is clean of honey. I wanted to put the comb in my solar wax melter. My problem is my bees are turning into barflies. I have a two small groups of bees that atre clumped together on the comb. These lazy good for nothing bums won't go home. There are three hives less than 15 feet away. So on a serious note, why do I still have bees hanging out after dark?  It is a little after 10pm (gmt -5) and 66F/19C with no rain.

I had some bees that would hang out at the bar also, and make their way home the next day. Perhaps they wanted an early start. Perhaps the supply was to good to be true and they thought they were dreaming.

Wonder if they gorged and couldn't lift their bodyweight (LOL).  Greatest of days.  Cindi
