Title: New Central NC Beekeeper
Post by: dealhound on March 20, 2007, 02:07:06 AM
Hi all,

I am Tim and and a one year beekeeper.  I currently have only one hive, but i have bought and constructed two new hives and a nuc that I hope to get some bees in this year (have a nuc coming to start one of them next week!!)

I have been lurking around the forums for awhile, soaking in what knowledge that I can.  Hopefully, thanks to your shared knowledge and experience, I will be able to avoid at least some of the pitfalls that many new beekeepers experience.

I have been building some of my own woodenware this winter and have really learned a lot from reading about those topics here.  I have already begun making some course correction based on what I have been learning here (going to all medium frames on my new hives, going to begin trying small cell, especially in my brood chambers and am going to try a split soon to get another hive and prevent swarming).

Thanks

Tim (Dealhound)
