Title: Super Sticky Wood
Post by: AndersMNelson on March 25, 2007, 10:38:36 PM
The botton board of my hive is so glued up with propolis that I can't seperate it from the hive stand.  Any suggestions?

That's why you never go to the beeyard without a hive tool.  :)

Here's my favorite:

Use the hive tool for separating apparatus, it is strong and sturdy..  To remove propolis so it does not build up so badly, use a putty knife.  Save the propolis, there are many uses for it.  The best days to ya'll.  Cindi
