Title: Trees 'n Bees Seminar - Auburn, WA
Post by: Sean Kelly on March 26, 2007, 05:50:23 AM
Anyone gone to the Beekeeping seminar at Trees 'n Bees in Auburn, WA?  Is it worth the $35?  I have to take a day of work off to go.  Just want to know if it's worth while.

I live in Florida so it would be a bit of a walk for me to make it. However most of these courses are pretty good. You could always go to it and tell us what you thought of it. Reviews are always nice.

Sincerely,
Brendhan

Yeah, I think I will go.  Sounds fun.  Plus they provide a "free" lunch.  And if the weather is nice, we get to go do some hands on stuff.  I think I'm going to register for the one on May 5th.

Oh yeah, and you don't have to walk all the way from Florida... my buddy is a trucker and goes there all the time.  I'm sure he'll give you a ride to Seattle...  :-)

$35 is a deal to get to speak with experienced beekeepers. Maybe you can get a line on some local bees if you can't get a package.Local people can tell you the what you may experience in your environment and techniques that work in your area!
