Title: Mineral Salts
Post by: SignQueen on April 11, 2007, 04:35:36 PM
Ok so what exactly is mineral salt? Is it simply rock salt? Tractor supply store sells this...
50 LB. AMERICAN STOCKMAN® FINE ROCK SALT which is described as fine rock salt... will that work in my grease patties?
Thanks
Cam

Mineral salt is like they would have in a salt lick. It is often added to animal feed. You may want to ask about it at tarctor supply or any other farm supply store. It is different than rock salt.
