Title: Jeffersonia dubia Dark Form
Post by: reinbeau on April 23, 2007, 07:11:53 PM
This is a little beauty I got at the New England Wildflower Society quite a few years ago.  Although I don't think the bees care about it (it's a spring ephemeral, so it's usually gone before the bees really get going) I just love this plant.

Ann, what a lovely little picture of a pretty little flower, that shade of blue is really an eyestopper.  I bet it stands out in early spring when everything is still very brown.  Pretty.  Nice picture by the way.  Have a beautiful day, great life and great health.  Cindi
